Steering servo upgrade ?

You can always use a bec to power the Rx and other low voltage stuff toss a lipo in there and power the servos off the lipo?

This I want to learn, which BEC could work with it?

Basically any BEC should work. It's just a voltage regulator. I like castle creations BEC.

I think that all receivers have a built in bec circuit in it ,not sure if you would need a secondary ,BEC. is a battery eliminator circuit that
only allows so much power into the receiver so it doesn't burn it up!

Hi have you tried a 7.4v on the hpi receiver?

No ,but have ran 14.4 volts in receivers before ,I also know dealing with a high power batts ,you probably will need a s better
BEC system!...

Guys settle down, hes just trying to power an rx not rated for lipo power and one servo. The bec will handle that, the one he picked is rated for 15 amps. That should more that'll handle the voltage reduction plus the load of the servo(s)
