Besides spending more money on the truck, is there any real advantage to going with a Turtle Racing air filter box over the stock filter on a Losi 5T 2.0?

Or a Crazy Stu filter? What do you have to do to modify the cage with the Crazy filter?

CrazyStu gets my vote ??

Exhaust and intake on any rig are the 2 best upgrades

I have both the crazy stu & the turtle racing intake.

I really like the durability and feel of the turtle intake, feels like it can last a lifetime BUT

I feel the CrazyStu has a slight performance edge over the TR intake... like it allows the engine to breath better ??‍♂️, and because of where the air filter sits (right in front of the windshield) It’s almost like a cold air intake system ?

both are great, really I guess it’s all a matter of preference and opinion.

I'm machining an adapter outta delrin right now that will allow me to use the stock air setup and still slide a 2-3" aftermarket ricer style air breather over it

Exhaust and air filter are always the first two upgrades. Let that engine breathe!
