No, you bid at the last second so you don't bid up unnecessarily. It's dumb to throw in a bid now, you'll just get up bidded and raise the price.
Bidding at 20 seconds is too long you bid at 5 seconds or less with your max with what your willing to pay for it...And i believe I've been on ebay as long as you've been alive and before you were born
