Palms are dirty trees, how the grow collect crap in the "bark" just dulls chains out quicker. I'll go take a few pics of my collection.... no tuned pipes...yet
Ok, may have pissed the wife off a bit, she cought me taking pics of the collection. The one that is half together is a hybrid race saw, if it ever gets finished. Cheap 350 plastic bottom end pro NE 346xp ported like crazy top end on it. Should only weigh about 8lbs when done with a 18 or 20" bar. My 346xp is my current toy saw. Getting a bigger carb, runs out of fuel ? up top. The 359 is another hybrid saw, just works or woods ported. It's the money maker. The 390xp is gone stock, warranty just ran out this summer. The 394xp has a big bite kit, and very lightly ported at this point. It suffers from the same carb runs dry up top issue. Little harder to get a bigger carby to fit in the case then the 346 though. All the rest are runners, don't use them much. Either too heavy, too old to find parts if they break. The lancaster 60 is the coolest imo. Made here in lancaster pa, by the lancaster pump works back in the 50s or early 60s powered by a 70cc Lawson power products engine. No antivib, no chain break, no sprocket tip, no real chain tensioner. It'll make a new filling fallout of your mouth. Only cut with it once. Just to say I did. Have a few other laying about but didnt feel like going out to the shed. Cheers

Actually just gave away a 435 series 1. Box, bar, couple of chains. Didnt use it, too small. The money I have tied up in saws, yeah i could get a few 1/5. Hate to admit it but the saws get used more then any rc i own. If things ever get back to normal i have 4 trees lined up to take down.
Sadly the used saw market isnt really that great around here, and I've learned over the years you always need a backup.

Well hell yes I do lol. Actually the ones I use most often are very nice to run. Other then the 390 being heavy even it doesn't shake the crap out of you.
Oh just to give some price comparison, Doug. These would be the 2 saws I would get for the same money as the home owners editions you posted up. Saws in the states are a lot cheaper apparently.

This would be the big one. Actually makes me want to trade one of my bigger saws in to get one. This guy comes in just shy of $1000.00

And this guy would replace my 359/357 hybrid.

Oh no get the stihl. I'm no prude. I just went looking when you showed that flyer. Really got me thinking about upgrading to a new saw. Dam they spec out great! That 550xpg has my knickers in a knot! My stihl dealer sucks wank hard. So no new stihls for me. If they cant change a spark plug and the air filter, it's you need a carb or its junk buy a new one. I've fixed a lot of locals stihls because the dealer couldnt fix them, or wanted a new sale.
