I bought the vertigo monster locker on ddm's deal of the day. Well first run out within 5 minutes it already flung the pin out on the rear where the o-ring holds in it. Im assuming this as my pin is none existent anymore. What can i do to keep this from being a common thing

Yep. I feel like a ziptie will do but I don't like to rig things. Strikes me a little odd that the o ring moved that much to allow the pin to fly out

Thanks @siblues I'm wondering what hardness do I need? I see alot of stainless pins but im pretty sure going by the rest of my pins being magnetic that these are some form of steel just treated

Lol thanks z. I was trying to stay above the backyard mechanic fix and atleast make an effort to buy something with pin in the name but drill bit is not a bad idea I just wonder how well a drill bit would hold up due to them being pretty brittle when they do break

Whew 2700lbs breaking strength ...not bad tho 15ish bucks for 50 pins. My problem is I want the new parts pretty much the same time I need them:LOL:
Ya same here ! McMaster is a great place to get real info on materials , I also use it for 3d models of screws etc. it really is a all in one materials properties website. How long is the pin ???

The only issue I have with using a screw is the channel for the o ring. I was thinking of putting set screws on both sides of the bore to hold the pin inside.
