Looking to upgrade my throttle and transmission reverse servos on the Raminator to higher voltage accepting....so I can run a 2s Lipo vs a NiMh pack to power the truck. These are much closer to standard size servos vs my larger steering and brake servos.
Contemplating going with Savox. Use them in my 1/8 and 1/10 E word rigs with great success.
Curious as to what you all are using and if Savox is a solid option or if you guys suggest others.

Thanks everyone! Ill continue to stick w Savox so all my rigs match w servos. I reached out to Savox for recommendations and this is what they said...any of you guys have any of these specific servos?

The stock servo that you have listed is 20kg which comes out to 277 oz-in of torque I do have a lot of servos that fit that specification. Your stock servo also has the dimensions of L X W X H 40.8x20.1x38mm.

On the torque, I can definitely match or beat that with any of these servos but the size is gonna be a little off.

SW1211SG has 25kg/348.2 oz-in of torque and size of 40.6 x 20.7 x 42 speed .08 sec/60 deg
SW1210SG has 32kg/444.4oz-in of torque and size of 40.6 x 20.7 x 42. speed .13 sec/60 deg
SW2210SG-BE has 36kg/500oz-in of torque and size of 40.6x20.7x42 speed.11 sec/60 deg this has a brushless motor.

These servos fit the size a little closer.

SB2270SG has 32kg/444 oz-in of torque and size of 40.3 x 20.2 x 38.7speed .12 sec/60 deg
SB2274SG has 25kg/347oz-in of torque and size of 40.3 x 20.2 x 38.7 speed .08 sec/60 deg
SV1272SG has 30kg/416 oz-in of torque and size of 40.3 x 20.2 x 37.2 speed .10 sec/60 deg

That is what I was thinking too Z...its just for throttle and the other for the reverse gear in the transmission. I will probably go the route of this one...looks like it will fit closest and fastest speed in that category.

SB2274SG has 25kg/347oz-in of torque and size of 40.3 x 20.2 x 38.7 speed .08 sec/60 deg

For the big boys such as steering and brake...you guys recommend the Hilantronics?

Yeah the Raminator has the throttle and reverse servos back to back...so i gotta be careful on height and space...also the sc1256 is a great servo..but no where big enough for the Raminator. The steering servos and brake servo are HUGE compared to stock servo sizes.

Yeah, just the models I was running. I wouldnt go anything less then the 400 oz-in range for your set up. I have a few old futaba, spektrum, and hpi servos, but they are old and suck by any standards today
