I have used grains ?? but that is comercial grade so when you buy it there is tax involved ?? and bullion is tax free??? I don't see why I should pay tax if I don't have to????

Ah yeah, that makes sense. I don't think we have anything like that state-side, silver is just like any other commodity here.

Silver is fairly cheap. Its the gold that gets pricey. 1 little coin, 2k. Its crazy how high its gone.
Doug have you tried using casting grains instead of bullion?
I looked into those as I considered a little oven for making bars. I realized my clumsiness would result in half those little beads getting lost. Would be fun to try smelting though.
