Running the other day at full speed and lost the pin that holds the wheel extender on , the wheel flew off luckily into grass so no damage ( guy's be careful with those expensive wheels) I modofied the hub with a stainless bolt , this is how it should've come from the factory. Another cheap mod that can save you from some real damage.
Random question.
Can anybody tell me the width (mm) of the ignition coil spacers?
Bought my Baja second hand and the guy must have taken them off.
I cant find any locally so im going to try make something work (i have some 4mm wide clutch bell bearings of my nitro buggy that fit) but not sure if itl be too wide
Thanks in advance
Plastic washers is what goes in there I would not use a bearing because that is metal and if it starts to fall apart you would not want the metal pieces to hit on the fly wheel and send pieces to the wrong place. If you are going to use metal a metal washer 1 piece would be much better as far as the width as long as the coil align on top of the fly wheel it will be fine.
I got sick of the little plastic spacers,,, I went and bought the overkill concepts coil spacer at ddm for 18 dollars http://www.davesmotors.com/ee414.html
