Keith, there's not even one spec of dust on any part in any photo!!
The last time I encountered anywhere that clean was inside a nuclear reactor at Sellafield (BEFORE they started it up I may add!!).
Amazing !!
Jealous? OF COURSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool2:

Very nice indeed.
Just a (serious!) question;
In putting the larger squares on, despite the larger, already discussed stresses on the bearings - relative and probably negligible cf the 'occasional thump', do you think that the larger offset potentially exposes more of the brake disc to ingress of grit / dirt / whatever in comparison with the standard offset?

Alan the 24mm squares will be fine with the brakes........and with my alloys

having a big off set it takes the width up to:2guns: 50cm at the front end

Alan where did you find the elcon squares and long axles

Very nice Keith :cool2: It certainly wont look out of place with the rest your cars. Nice collection you have there :cool2:

Hi Keith,
I was being hypothetical, for a change!!
I never got that far (extended axles)!
I'm going to give the Hobbythek collared axles a go - I have a habit of 'playing safe' and overtightening, and thus moving the square onto the bearing - not a good idea.
I've another 3 weeks in this damned place (I am joking - it's GREAT, just a shame I'm working every day!!) and will fit these axles once I return - reference 8610/10.
Alan.

Keith, there may be a shortcut.
There's an Anodising Remover gel advertised on Ebay - no idea what it is, but may make life a little easier to complete your 'look'.
Al.

drain cleaner also works

thanks for the info guys :no:but its only the edges im thinking of same

as my front arms and:2guns: spill any off the edge and i have lost the look

i would be looking for

When you get it running me & Charlie will come over for a bash with you. Would be good to see it in action :cool2:

Looking real good mate and you must get a real buzz in building them and seeing the finished product but must cost you a absoloute fortune as the parts that you use look top quality and put together to last.

You should name it Trebor the minty MT :)
