So I go to start my Baja today, it starts up like usual, 4 slow pulls on choke and then a couple fast pulls. Starts right up and runs properly, then after a few minutes idling, it just randomly stops. I raise the idle and start it up again. At this point I figured something might be up . So I go to drive and it won't idle, I have to rev it to keep it running, and if I don't ,it will stop after a few seconds. Motors got compression, coil is tight, flywheel is tight. It also makes a wierd, kinda rubbing sound, not quite a clank but it's like a bolt rattling around type sound. So what could it be??? Maybe a clutch bolt backed off? But would it stop the motor from running?? And the clutch still engaged fine btw.
And at the end, I couldn't get it to start at all.

Damn dude, you have some terrible luck. Your engine might have been assembled on Corona Friday by someone wearing a mask and fogged up safety glasses.

I'm thinking the worst here and hoping for the best. A wrist pin circlip might not have been seated and sprung loose which could be rattling around in the crankcase. I recommend a complete disassembly if you are hearing unusual noises.

Pull the spark plug a rotate the flywheel. Could be a bad bearing. Hard to say.

?You pull the plug and turn it over a few to see if you hear the noise while shes apart?
Yeah i can't hear it.

Can't hear anything with the plug out. If a circlip fell out, wouldn't the piston and cyl walls be damaged ? Not seeing any damage on any of those.

Circlip could spring loose and drop in to the crankcase through one of the ports. Sounds like you have the cylinder is off. Check to confirm both circlips are in place.

Heres the question tho. The sound could be a wrist pin clip, sure, but a random circlip floating in the case ain't Gunna cause it to not stay running. So wtf is up with that?? The cyl is fine , no markings or anything
