had to drill the shock towers just a bit (note that these are MT shocks). Used a calliper. just drilling couple of mm for the bolt to enter would do fine. (also, I replaced the shock oil to 40 wt)

Yup they're the best. Very high quality. used for both front and rear.

also, a shout-out to DGI Racing, those Steering links and rear upper arms are top notch

One thing I'd like to point out here. You see in the pix the corner of the radio box is sticking out of the side guard. He cut that opening himself. He will have to cut openings for the steering links too. The side guards are made from ABS and it's easy to cut, that's the idea, you custom cut it to your car. Looks like the pipe is a little close too, no problem, trim it to match your pipe, looks good. If you have an XT I can make the side guards 3 or 4 inch's tall to cover up everything you can normally see. If you trim it right up to your body nothing will go over the top, does a pretty good job of keeping the mud out.

That's sweet! I've always hated that is open under the truck bodies.

Yup, they're easy to cut. will get to the steering part today.
 
It's 95% done.40 wt Oil shock oil filled!lightened flywheel and 8000 rpm spring with clutch installed!Snappy vent Installed!I still have do adjust the servos/brakes. put stickers on the cover, etc.. (minor stuff)Full 360 Degree Detailed close-up pics tomorrow.
