It's why I love my Baja too, but I don't find its steering to be useless or difficult to work on, and I haven't broken a single piece up front. But carry on, mate. Might want to start another thread to document your new build though. This one's getting a bit long in the tooth!

Different preference then . I prefer the losis setup, my Mugen mbx5t truggy had a somewhat similar setup and i loved it.

Yeah another guy was selling a semi rtr 5ive for $500 aswell. A few months back tho. Would be a perfect start. If I had money right now I'd probably snatch that one up
