Couple more pics today . Trimmed the side panels yesterday and did some sanding this afternoon . Still want to do a bit more trimming . Couple of body lines a want to make look better . Modified the window rails on both sides in the cage so that I could put a body clip pins. Drilled the panels for mounting. So now that I can actually look at the panels on the buggy I'm starting to think about how I want to paint them. Already have the colors ordered .

Those panels are starting to grow on me, the nose panel kinda looks like a crocodile or a alligator, Ina good way

Going with Black and Florescent Green . I've never used an air brush before so this will be interesting . I've been watching a lot of videos on how to do it . So hopefully it's going to come out cool like I hope or it's going to look like a total p.o.s. . Hopefully not . When I was a teen I built my own RC speed boat and painted it with spray bombs . Learned to use stencils back then so I think that will help me now . If I decide to use enamel paints then I'll only get one shot at getting it right . I did pick up the same colors in water base paints so I can practice on cardboard. Over Christmas break I may try and find some clear plastic film to practice on .

OOOO sounds like it'll pop, hopefully it works out. I might try air brushing, but when ur done tell me how difficult it is

Funny you ask . I think I'm going to strip the stickers off the wing then put a base coat of white and then use the Green and black on it all so . See if I can continue the the theme onto the wing . Also the Spur gear cover and maybe the Bottom rear cover/Skidplate .

The Enamel Paint I ordered is Spaz-Stix . The water base paint i picked up is Createx .

Looks amazing from the rear!!! ? For sum reason your truck looks Soo good but every other Baja with that body looks horrid,

Thanks for the compliment considering I barely know what I'm doing . Maybe January or February time frame I'm going to tackle changing the Shock oils and the diff oil. If I can afford it may toss in a TR quick change rearend and Top plate. It's nice bling but do I really need it .

Yeah the quick change rear end is definitely worth it, even a clone, cuz it's a pain in the ass to take the stock diff out, SOOO much stuff in the way. I need one. "Thanks for the compliment considering I barely know what I'm doing" LoL that's exactly how I feel about my 70cc build ?? when I started, no joke I literally though I could mod a little bzm 28.5 case to fita 70cc cylinder without weekening it ? but I'm glad I thought and tried that cuz if I didn't I wouldn't be were I am with this build today ? live and u learn ?? isthe truest phrase ever ?

How long did it take to get engine after you ordered it? I want to get one for mtxl.
