so ok, I email motion industries today, and in their store nearest to me (10 mins away actually, not 33), they do not have it, BUT, they can order it from their Chicago warehouse (technically Elgin which is were my store is located isnt in Chicago) if I call in before 11 am on Monday, and have the oil seals later in the afternoon (Monday still) free of charge! so that's what I'll do, call in Monday before 11, then later pick it up. should have done that instead of ordering them TCM seals from eBay, oh and btw, these seals are SKF.

Id go for a Baja because, you can find one used tand they are not to bad in price vs the losi 5ive t, mcd trucks, losi 5ive b, ect, also they are stupid fun to drive even with a small engine with a pipe.

So here's a thing, honestly what are the chances of my metal tueb for the intake rusting? I'm not building a submarine. Asking because I have not been able to find a 1.875 OD aluminum tube for what they are worth, they are charging wayyy to damn much, I've only been able find 1.75 OD, which is a quote bit smaller than my filter neck, so I'd like to have that joint as tight as possible, so before I spend too much, id like to know what's the chances. I Personally don't think this will rust, keep in mind I never ever run in water and never have and never will. Also when I talk about it rusting, I'm talking about the inside of the tube, I don't give a damn about the outside of it rusting cuz that won't get into the motor, what are the chances of the inner side of the tube rusting

Z, everytime you take your truck from the nice cool AC of your basement to the warm outside temps there will be condensation that will form on the metal. Those small water molecules will have the chance to form rust if the metal is not protected. This is something that would happen over time. You don't have to be driving thru puddles or in the rain to find water. If it was me I would use aluminum or at the very least powder coat the steel. I wouldn't even risk it by painting the steel. Just my $.02. You can take it for what it's worth :ROFLMAO:
