What direction does our 2stroke engine run in?

I'm pretty sure the crank goes clockwise but just to be sure, cuz I'm using a drill start and I want to make sure I set it inthe right direction

My tip for easiest way to verify is look at the pull start cover . Note that as you are facing the PS housing the rope exits the housing on the left, so when you pull up on the rope, that causes the PS pulley to rotate the crankshaft clockwise. That being said , looking at the clutch side it's opposite and the crank rotates counterclockwise.

If by "anti clockwise" you mean clockwise then you are correct ??

To start the engine with a drill you will need to run the drill forward and not in reverse

Haha.. Yes, as you wanted to know so you could use a drill start then forward or clockwise is the direction you want the drill to be going??

Spin the engine whatever rotation you want, they can run either CCW or CW.
