I apologise if this has been covered over and over.

im just prepping for the bank holiday bashfest here in the uk.

how do you start yours without a choke?

prime bulb, pull engine over slowly 3-4 times then 3-4 fast pulls? sound about right?

I cant seem to start mine without opening the throttle with the transmitter. any tips??

Ive started to get the hang of starting mine recently without the choke. I too have a 990.

Fill primer bulb, then 3/4 more pumps.
SLOWLY pull the pull -start cord out to most of its length about three times. Even slowly you should hear the engine cough. At that point i give it a normal pull and it fires.

thanks bud, not started mine in about 7 months. I fully rebuilt the tlr 5b and its been sat on the stand ever since :cautious:
Whats the channel name??

Open the L needle one full turn and it'll fire right up, then return the needle.
