Baja is coming along nicely ??
I have the shock towers they are awsome ??

Thanx Doug ,after I get those , I will still need to buy the RPM rear's ,I will have to put the rear back together with
the orange for a little while ,until ,I can slowly spring another purchase to my wife ,she is a little agitated ,that I am
getting rid of the orange color because it is are grandson favorite color ,but the orange is badly faded ,an just looks
nasty ,the iodie orange just don't keep its vibrant deep color!

If she is wanting some orange ,I still have the clear body panels ,an would look great painted a sunburst orange ,
as it would look good with the natural aluminum an black parts!....

You could also just buy her a pocket of orangers for ?????
Rpm make great arms get them?

And she is still orange crazy after all that:rolleyes::unsure::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: jk!

Going to start cleaning the engine up ,upon further inspection ,the coil was touching the flywheel ,the screws were
barely tight ,I had never had the coil off on the engine ,I only had the whole head off at one time when I did the
piston swap!
I got my main tray of tools out of the shed ,an finally removed the clutch shoes for further cleaning!

Gonna keep the motor stock?

LOL..yea ,I am not spending time nor money on a baby ,It will be replaced with a larger engine later ,but not
a too aggressive one ,but definitely needs more power!...
I also noticed a little warpage on the intake manifold insulator ,an there is oily residue around it ,like it had
been leaking ,so I will see if I have a carbonite style in the shed!

Here you can see the shiny spot where the coil rubbed.

here you can see on the coil ,the edge a little grind mark an bent some.

The engine still has a ton of compression ,but I did put a dual ring piston in ,I am thinking on getting it bolted
back on the chassy to fire it up ,maybe tomorrow ,I got to get those damn uprights ...LOL.....those need to go
on before it goes back together!....:banghead:
