How are you recording while driving???

Some of you guys are getting some pretty cool footage while driving and bashing around just wondering what cámaras are you using / mounts

i don't know if this helps as my shite hasnt driven in a year (lol) but heres me phone mount. It's a part of a tripod (was detachable so I didn't hack it up) that is velcro'd to my radio, the tape is just so it doesn't go limp d!ck on me ??

I have a go pro mount on the roof of the car.
Hadn't thought of putting one on the tx but will definitely give it a go after seeing your idea.

For those with the means I know that there are drones which can be programmed to target and follow a moving object with its cam. People make some pretty wild footage with those.

Only threal big $$$ $3000 + the other less expensive ones cant trak 30mph + rc car??

I'm going to try it with my Mavic Pro Platinum one day. If you go a little higher off the ground it should have no problem recording like that.

A $1000 Dji drone can track and keep up with an rc car enough. The top speed is about 25mph depending on wind. The problem is unless your close to the ground your rc car is gonna look like it’s standing still

I have a drone that can do that but it's not as easy as it sounds.
You'd need another driver or 4 hands to do it properly.

In follow mode it will only follow the controller so you'd have it mounted on your car and hope nothing went wrong.
In track mode it keeps the camera on the object but someone has to be flying it.

And if you flip? Bam, destroyed transmitter (for the drone)

On my Mavic I can target it on an object and it will follow that object in flight and camera. I had it following my kids a couple weeks back.
