I've been around the bend a few times and I've never seen anyone thrash 2 hostile spurs. The cush pads within the gear mount should be enough to absorb a couple WOT landings, but you must be really trouncing it to cause that kind of damage.

And I'm with Sean here. You need to learn how to let off the throttle during jumps or you'll just destroy more poop. Watch real stadium truck racing. These guys are pushing massive HP and have stupid suspension and they still know to let off the throttle before they land. You can't escape physics.
I mean I'll try but I really don't want to be cooking spurs ever 2 runs, that's why I want steal.

?? Think the brace might not have been necessary. I think it's my driving habits lol. And btw guys, it's hardly jumping. More like ramping off small bumps and gets like 2" of air. Think the gear is just poop honestly. I
Got that right ???plastic ? who would have thought ????

Well that explains some if not all of your gear stripping out. Too much flex.
Would that tho ? This is where it is on the rig, idk if that would cause it, if I pull on the top plate forward it will spread a bit, I'm not sure if that will spread that much while I'm driving as it takes a good bit of force ??????

WTF?‍♂️??

Plastic spur who ever thought that was a good idea????
Think it's a pretty normal occurance, those top plates are thin as fek (2mm) and then ad on top that there is barely any meterial. It is an actual piece of poop ?‍♂️?‍♂️?
What Sean says might be right tho, my first hostile spur lasted 5+ hours . The second lasted 40 mins. So my theory is , close to the end of the first 5 hours it cracked, the flexed and feked up the first spur, then when I put on the new spur, it was already cracked ,flexed and destroyed the second one quick.

Look a the wear on the gear plate? I'd
Be looking at the bearings on the layshaft ?

Layshaft bearings feel awesome. Notice how the wear is only on one side (the broken side). So I'll have to get a top plate probably. Or bandaid this one for now, prefer to get a new top plate but I only have so much money ?
