Hi guys.I have a Baja 5B SS that is 9 years old.It has only ever had a quarter of a tank at low throttle put through it and then have not used it since. In the process of getting it up and running just waiting on a fuel line kit. There is a other post on this. My question is how much would it be worth if it is up and running well.I have included some pics. The radio system is working well as is the servo’s.I have the aluminiun pipe but used stock pipe because it’s much quieter.lIt has a new hump battery as well. The roll cage and everything else you don’t see on the buggy is there.I just haven’t a clue how much it would be worth.Depending on what it is worth I might just keep it and at least get some fun out of it.Anyway what do you guys think.

That rig is mint, looks brand new!

the right buyer will easily pay you $750+
however, those buyers are rare.

A more realistic cash price IMO is around $400-$600 CASH

eBay, OfferUp, 5mile it’s a bunch of apps now on days where you can sell it...

Thanks for the reply’s guys.I think I am going to take it out for a spin and see if I enjoy it more this time around.I actually enjoy the building process more than the driveing.Had a lot of fun putting this together.I live in Ireland so might be difficult to find a buyer here that knows what it’s worth and if I do sell it and want to get back in to the hobby I would be hard pressed to find a Baja in such good shape.I,ll let u guys know how I get on.?

In case you change your mind, Ill make you an offer for $500 and I can cover the shipping (USPS Priority to NC) as long as you can box it up neatly so it doesn't get damaged.

Thanks for lookin out Top Dead Center.

Thanks for the offer Chillin4life187 but I think I’m going to keep it.Started it up,today and it fired up on the 3th or 4th pull after 9years sitting and ran a full tank through it with no problem.Did not have to go near the carb which I thought I would have to since it sat for so long. All I had to do was change the fuel line which was all hard and cracked and the spark plug .?.One quick question I noticed the shock boots were completely nackerd.Age I guess. Can I run like this for a while or do I need do replace them immediately.?

The shock boots are to protect the shafts. If the shafts get blasted with rocks/dirt, they get sharp edges on them then they start to cut into the seals as the shock compresses. Guess you could run without them but best to go and get some more. I would run without them but I would definitely get some more??
