So I purchased this....
And reused one of my old tires that exploded to make this....

So the reason I did this is because I work on my truck on a stool and now I can spin it around effortlessly to work on any area of. ????

Sooo fellas.... Who can tell me what I have to do to prevent my pinion from backing up like this. Is there a replacement that is better an fixes t

I did that the first time it backed up on me. Maybe I didn't give the loctite enough time to cure.

Clean the screw with brakleen or carb spray 1st then install with loctite and let sit for 24hrs.

Put some loctite on the shaft too, I had this issue on my savy a while back. Also make sure your grub screw has the little toothy looking bit on the bottom of it. They bite in much harder then the std flat bottom screws. And if all else fails you can stake the grub screw in place with a small center punch, but realize it will make it very hard to get back out.

?Like what? Gotta be able to clamp down on the shaft. Its not that serious. Gas engines bolt from the front. You could ditch the electric motor??‍

Mike is referring to grinding off a pointed grub screw, I'm referring a style that had a flat base with "teeth" around the outside edge.
