Sooo fellas.... Who can tell me what I have to do to prevent my pinion from backing up like this. Is there a replacement that is better an fixes t20200626_213905.jpg

Put some loctite on the shaft too, I had this issue on my savy a while back. Also make sure your grub screw has the little toothy looking bit on the bottom of it. They bite in much harder then the std flat bottom screws. And if all else fails you can stake the grub screw in place with a small center punch, but realize it will make it very hard to get back out.
