Tidy 90s rule ??my old Speed Vision World Challenge car from the late 90's
I made the prototype on 3/4" plywood ! I have quite a bit of mass in the brake disk and axle , it needs some weight to be stable , beside I ran my motor on it and a small light frame is not what you want for these motors IMO.You can buy framing extrusions from grainger.
However the frame can be secured. Aluminum frameing would be much safer then plywood though I would suspect these cars aren't putting enough power to brake wood either.I made the prototype on 3/4" plywood ! This is a Brake DYNO not a intertia dyno , it requires larger components for these motors. I also want to be able to run 10+ HP
Oj It was just getting on the pipe never really revved it up , Plus I re-tuned it sense then ,It wasn't the lack of smoke why I commented, it was the engine note??
