Rovan also don't design anything they make. With the Losi I'd assume most of that goes to design and advertising but Rovan has no such costs so if they are able to produce cheaper then they really killing it.
Have to say I love China! That country is how reguar Joe's like us get rich! I really need to get my a$$ over there!
Got out a half hour ago. And yeah I wasn't paying attention ??Yes I'm aware and you even quoted me saying it. Shouldn't you be in school or something?
LOL , weird but I used to make the ECIGS BuzzPro etc. they were the very first Variable Voltage ones on the market , China got a hold of the design and POOF BIZ GONE in 1 yr, but YA things are CHEAP over there , I bought my Solar system directly imported it and saved 40% vs USA purchased ( BTW almost ALL solar products are MIC )Yes I am!!! I was making a fookin killing off $.50 vape carts the past few yrs. Had planned to travel there and add another .15-.20 profit on that along with better quality. My supplier even offered me new iphones for $75ea. Box and all you'd never tell lmfao. I obviously didn't take that offer tho. Point is anything and everything is cheap enough to make a business out of and if you travel there for a few months anyone can stay at factory and make sure quality is up to par.
Before the Hong Kong mess things were great. Getting less so now.
Dude not ONE of the US mfg's are still around from those days so SORRY you don't know what your talking about at least in that market. In Fact I was copied by all the US companies also ! you need $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to defend , wasnt worth the cost. Then you didn't brand properly or strong. The USA companies are known for their quality control and innovation which is why they were able to fight off china knock offs. Even though everything was/is made in China lol. I'm not familiar with the actual buzzpro but the design is common now. The industry moved towards ceramic everything. Coils, posts, mouthpieces ect... But as a whole they still haven't worked out leaking and the ceramic is not durable.
And I'm not talking about importing. I'm talking manufacturing. If you want to be a player here with China goods you must travel there and watch your stuff get made and shipped.
Im curious as well. If a 5t 2.0 is 1399 i would hope there's a decent profit still in it. So a rovan with lesser quality at pretty much the same price has to be a huge profit
I should start a 1/5 scale co. and fleece all U guys of your BLING $$$ , oh wait I mean FB BLING $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$There has never been any US manufacturers everything is made overseas. Every big name is made in China so yes you didn't brand properly or didn't move with the times. Not a diss just explaining why you missed out on sales. It's a high volume low margin industry so if you wanna step up to the plate you better be rdy to come out swinging! It ain't for everyone.
