Rcmax air filter is the billet filter better or just for looks compared to the Vstack filter?
Or should I pass on both and get a different filter

Depends on the vehicle it's being installed in. Some cars cant take the vstack

V stack is better in all cases, but as crucial said cant fit the v stack in all figments.

Well it would be for the hybrid wasn’t sure if the Crome version had a better filter

You'll want a v stack then, I prefer the tgn dual stage filters. Not a fan of the ram air ones from rcmax

Their huge and don't seal well on some stacks. Same filter that almost took out my 40gt.

I've ran the same tgn filter on so many rc with zero issues ever. The one that comes with the rcmax engines seems to always have small dirt particles on the v stack and inside the filter on dusty days.

I always check, it should of had a good deal, but it somehow didnt or it came through the filter element. I double check all my filters and the dust here is extremely fine compared to most places.

I wonder if it is the rubber they use to mount to the stack.I think if that material was a bit softer it would help seal better
