In line fuel filters?

Any benefit or issues running an inline fuel filter? I know in theory the clunk in the tank acts as a filter, is it worth it to add an inline filter as well? Only cons I could see is if the o-rings start to go bad, I could see that it could suck air in possibly through the filter. What is everyone else thoughts on these. I always ran one on my Nitro rigs. But have yet to on my has rig.

Negative, there is a fine screen built into the carb. Really no need to put something else inline to muck up the works.

Not that bothered though because I think it’s a nice bit of bling and no harm done so far. ?
