don't know, last time I had mine out I could touch it right after I ran it. Had a leak and fingered it all up till i found it. Only thing that was hot was the engine and pipe.. center diff was a medium warm ish.

What happened to your losi gt50?

I have the Losi 5T 2.0 w/ RCMax 65cc. I haven't run it in a very long while. I'm wanting to upgrade it to a Supreme version. That's about a $450 upgrade.
