There are 2 stores i have purchased from on ebay, the first is one who claims to be the official FID store on ebay:
https://www.ebay.com/str/fidracingstore#tab1

This is what they quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hi dear,
Welcome to our store. : )

We are the official FID racing store on eBay. And all the FID products are available. If you have any concern, please let us know.

We also have GTB, Rovan/Rofun, DTT, Area 1/5 spare parts, as well as some 1/10 spare parts.

Location: ChinaMember since: Jun 06, 2017Seller: fidracingstore"

There address is:
HE XI
Nanguomingcheng 48zhuang
Jinhua 321017
PeoplesRepublicOfChina
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The second one is:
2013 Baja
https://www.ebay.com/itm/204102848189?var=504603755920
They quote:
"FID racing Aluminium Mid Diff Gear Bracket Mount for Losi DBXL gas 2.0 only"

BRAND: FID
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

...Both of these stores have VERY similar wording/description for there items which seems to me that they are both operated by the same company.

So are any of these your Authorised dealers, or not? or do you have anything to do in terms of business with any of these 2 sellers on eBay? And do you manufacture this part: https://www.ebay.com/itm/266013457938?hash=item3defa33e12:g:6T0AAOSw9CZjMnyN Yes/No ?

Thanks
Thanks very much for this information @tizdaz.

In this case, this one https://www.ebay.com/str/fidracingstore is our dealer, same company with this one https://www.aliexpress.com/store/1100726615 on AliExpress.

If the other one has similar wording and description, I fear they are same company. We'll check with them again about this.
Could you manage to get the reply address as the first one please?

Yes the item in the link is made by us.

then they have fed lies to myself & are not responding to emails/messages after spending a good part of £6-700 on upgrades, most of which i have had issues with in terms of fitment, i was promised they will send me the "correct" part to fix the issue, which im still waiting for 6 weeks later, they then say that there engineers are setting the machine up!?

I mean how stupid do they think people are to believe that rubbish!?

So hopefully you can help me... I need replacement pads for the part i mentioned above: https://www.ebay.com/itm/204102848189?var=504603755920

as the pads that came with the item lasted less than 15mins due to a fault with the product causing the brake piston to stick which meant it didnt go back to neutral position so the pad wore straight down. The issue was the bearing, the only solution is to remove the bearing from the housing and not use it, which is not ideal!!

Can you please help as your dealer on eBay is now ignoring all my messages after promising to send me parts to fix the issues. As i say, I have spent a good part of £6-700 on hop ups on your products for my DBXL 2.0, almost every part i have had issues with which i have had to sort out myself in terms of modding the part to make them fit.

Sorry about the experience.

Could you take the pictures of what happened with the parts?
And provide your buying account. I'll ask them to handle your complaints.

At present we can't control their behaviors. FID Racing made a lot of mistakes in the past. We still need time to grow up.

@FID Racing you may want to get a handle on this person or company that is promising things and is not you. Regardless if your grown up or not it just does not look good out there or in here.

How is it that you know who is doing this but you say you have no control over them? Are you the company or are they? Your comments are a bit confusing and doesn't make me feel confident in your company as a consumer.

It's a bit complicated. We are aware of this now, and will try to make changes.

ive provided a video:
pretty much shows the issue with this piece , removing the top bearing solves issue but then becausei removed the top bearing, the support of the shaft is no longer there, so not ideal.

And here is the outcome of the pads, also in this pic, i was filing the mount holes slightly larger as it was sticking when placed onto the mount as the hole was too small! ..again another quality issue:

Ive sent same video & images to the seller, messaged them numerous times, no reply. Also no reply from pevious messages regarding issues wither other parts, which i will post over next few days to show you the issues.

Ive sent you a PM with my buying account details for eBay

Hi tizdaz,

Thanks for the video and picture. This pad had a really bad wear. I'll ask our engineer to look into this.

I saw your msg. My colleague will contact the dealer. Their handling is not professional.

ok thanks, can you tell me where i can purchase new pads? As ive been looking but cant seem to find any for this item!?

To be honest those pads look like a manufacturer defect, I'm sure others will agree with me on this. Still plenty of pad left and it's coming apart, thats just not ok.

yeh, not good at all, this was literally around 15mins or less of use on short grass, the engine was still being ran in too so it wasnt like i was driving it hard! ..ive since been trying to get answers, even trying to find replacement pads which i was willing to pay for im yet to find an answer!! not good at all :(

next week i will make a post regarding all the FID items i bought & all the issues i had with them, and how i managed to fix (mod) some so they worked and the ones that were 100% a no go!

Hi, can you please reply to my previous questions regarding replacement pads, i had no luck with ebay seller in terms of replys so i would be grateful as a sales rep if you could help me with this issue, if replacement pads are not available then can you please tell me how inreturn this to you for a refund due to it being faulty and not fit for use? As explained, ive sent numerous messages to the seller, no reply. Thanks.

well, seems like im getting the same response from the FID sales rep here as i got from the FID shop on eBay when asking about issues with there items & replacement pads..

There customer service really is shocking! I definitely will not be going anywhere this brand again purely because of the lies and poor customer service I've received from them!

So are you going to bother replying / helping a customer or are you going to ignore like your dealer has done on eBay?

As i said previously, customer service plays a big part for any company, to blatantly ignore issues and ignoring customers regarding quality of products bought... Very poor indeed.

@tizdaz get a flat surface and some 240grit sandpaper and sand the face of the pads flat again, just back and forth and keep the pads flat and some of the melted part will clean up, probably enough to use em till you can get fresh ones (y) ,
the pads are the same as dragon hammer pads as well, they do sometimes need the holes taking out a little when new,
also the carrier itself, try swapping the front brake post for the rear and see if the problem swaps to the opposite brake,
there may be a burr on tthe shaft somewhere, either at the very bottom of the shaft or on the flat thats cut out for the brake puck thing,
that might be causing the brake to bind,

hi buddy ;)

cheers for that, yeah i made the holes a fraction bigger already incase it was that causing the issue, ive had the shafts out and inspected them but smooth as silk as is the small metal piston part that slides in & out freely, it seems to be sticking where the top bearing is, as soon i remove the bearing, it works but as mentioned, i then lose the strength/support as there is nothing on the top of shaft holding it in place :(

I may take it apart again and see if i can do something with the area where bearing sits. But don't think i can as if i make the hole bigger where the bearing sits then this will just make the bearing loose so will make the bearing useless, so atm its looking like a lose-lose situ! :(

Absolute poor design from FID with all these aftermarket parts!

i was about to say the same as ryan above (y),
i've had that problem before but on a different makers part,
you might not feel comfortable doing this but take it apart, use some very fine grinding paste or even just some oil and put the end of the shaft in a drill and spin it in the bore, then thoroughly clean all traces out of the bore and off the shaft and try it again, worked for me and the parts i did it on is spot on now,
just go gentle and it will bed the shaft into the bore,
but first check that that top bearing is sat in the top plate properly, it might just need removing, check for a witness mark in the bearing bore, clean that out then refit the bearing and reasemble the carrier and check again ,
