It happened but I'm not going to let this keep me down. Like wolf said he is gonna scam the wrong person. Tried emailing and calling but no reply, his phone rings twice and goes to voicemail. Should I post up his info?
 
if thats allowed you should do it... its kinda hard to sell/trade without many of us canadian guys coming across the add... do you got pics and specs about what you sent him?
 
oh man, that sucks. yea i think you should have to post 300 or more before you can sell.

not a whole lot of people from novascotia on this board eh? I was thinking someone local to them if theyre down, to scope out this guys address and see if theres any movement of a bigscale and watnot. I think it would suffice for sure.! and then move on from there.
 
Btb funny you ask that. When I checked the tracking status of what I shipped him, he was the one that signed for it, and had signed for it an hour before I emailed him. The same day I emailed him and asked if he received it this was his reply, "somthing came for me yesterday but I am home sick, how about you". That's when I knew I had been takin for a ride.

I think this might be his work address cause he mentioned that the fedex acct no. he used belonged to his work.

This is what I would do and it costs nothing. Goggle every thing about the persons name, address and phone number. From there make phone calls to track down relatives etc and explain your story. If you have the FedEx info find out what company owns it and explain to the owner or CEO what happened using there account. You need to file a complaint with your and his police department so that you can use the case numbers or have some backing for people to call and see that it is legit. Persistence will pay off.:ph34r: Most people think the problem will go away. Most people aren't stupid enough to use such personal info in a scam so you are lucky, well you know what I mean. When you are persistent they finally have to do something for it to stop - Like give it BACK!

btb im the one thats overseas.

i got an email from him this morning. your right, persistance does pay off. he said he did give it to fedex and they must have lost it. he was out sick and just returned to work this morning to find what happened. he says he'll return my truck, until he can find out what happened to his package.

if the story is true and when i get my truck back, i told him that i would apologize to him on here.

ill keep you all updated.

He won't send the truck back. This has scam written all over it. I will keep an eye out for your truck.
 
Just call his local PD they will handle it if you push the right buttons.
I am very sorry to hear about your loss, but I would have to agree with AK, that truck is not coming back as of yet.
 
I'm contact now with them, and said they will see what they can do. I also made contact with someone on hbf that said they would scope him out for me, don't want to say too much cause I don't want him to conviently not be around the day he shows up. If that doesn't get any results then I got a plane ticket waiting to be used. One thing I can say though is this thread has quite a few views so I know he's lurking to see what is being said about him on this forum.
Who their right mind contacts you after stealing somthing and talks to you like it never happened? What a d!€k!!!
 
last time i made a trade the guy spoke to me on the phone like he knew me.i sent my truck & he never sent any.when i called him he said he wasnt the guy i spoke with and he doesn't know anything about stupid toys.this guys is from halls,TN..try using the internet fraud dept of the fbi.i used it on one my deals and it worked he returned my stuff.idk if they talked to him tho.

no i did that. there is an edit key at the bottom. it was just incase i was wrong, the important people already saw it. and if i was wrong i would really feal bad for accusing someone, but you got my pm.. and i think its him.
the guy i mentioned also went thru some of his posts and edited some personel info that i KNOW was their. the edit key is fun..
