I hear the small clutch will still slip with the bigger gearing. If you can I'd get the v3. Then you can run whatever gearing you want without issues .

My new (used) 1107 carb ?? I've got a new rebuild kit so why its off the baja i might aswell rebuild it!
Rebuild done ?? now need to install it and try it out

That is incorrect. Your clutch will still heat up eventually and start to fade no matter what clutch if your over geared. Fact is, it's still only a 40cc. It cant pull tall gears for long periods of time.

Yes you can run the uber super spikes with a 40, I run it on my 40gt baja with no issues yet. They are also studded to hell

Took the baja out for a little rip today with the new 1107 carb and sym steer. Such a massive improvement with the steering and ripping it. The thing takes off like nothing now with the 1107 its crazy.
