Thats why I changed lol, i will give these helical gears one more try. If they snap another bolt then I'll get metal straight cut ??Me personally i don't do plastic gears......so its your call?

Can you try flipping both gears around so it's not pushing out, but pushing in ?

So...took the baja out again after the pinion bolt snapped, the same poop happened again, so out with the helical gears and in with the straight cut gears, I only have cheap plastic spur gears but that's better than what I have, this should fix my problem ?? videos coming soon

Why not just get a strong ass pinion bolt?? I think ddm sells em. I hear those will fix the pinion bolt snapping.

The same thing happened on my last run, the pinion bolt snapped because of the helical gears but I got normal gears in my parts bin ??It looks like ye-all had fun with it with out issues ,nice little vids!....

As doug said not too long ago, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now, every run something was breaking, but now its the same thing which is good because this last run I was beating on her ??. So I'm hoping now ive upgraded all the poopy bits and I can have a stress free run ??

Finally changed over, but they are plastic so we shall see how long it takes for them to self-destruct
