Come on Boys, Let's See 'em DBXL's!

My wheel setup is:
Front - Desperado 5b front, hpi MS foam 5T front, MXT fronts.

Rear - Desperado 5b rears, hpi MS foam 5T rear, MXT 5T rears.

My rear tires are a bit wider than my front tires. You can also do all four tires using the front setup - it'll be much easier to mount the tires. Mounting 5T rear tires to 5b rear wheels requires a bit more work but it's doable.

Ya I've got 5b bow tie rears on desperado 5b rear rims and skinny bow ties up front. Too much work to put 5t rubber on desperado rear wheel :/ they're a bit shorter but the low profile is nice, less roll

Thought I would throw up a couple of vids from a bashing session.

Some areas that we drove in were pretty rough. I had 5000wt in my shocks and I was bouncing quite a bit over the rough stuff. My brother's dbxl (orange/blue one) had the stock 3000wt fluid in his shocks and his looked like it was able to soak up some of the rough patches better.

Somebody please make better pistons for the dbxl shocks.

one question or maybe 2 lol.... what are peoples views on samba pipes as they seem fairly priced compared to other ones and also are the beadlock trims universal on this size of buggy as in can i just buy diff colors from anywhere or do they need to be specific to the dbxl.... anyways a quick pic..... cheers

nice vid fella.... you wouldnt have a spare wheel lying around that u might want to part with have ya? there like rocking horse crap lol....want one to mount on rear but cant get one for love nor money

since i got this buggy it seems to want to drop apart....had to go round and loctite everything to stop shafts from falling off fuel tanks from coming loose etc etc but i do love this thing...im a big kid at heart and it makes me grin everytime i mess with the bloody thing....
it now has super bee kill switch carbon rear shaft guards from snr shockwears on filter starter and shocks... a 1"velocity stack mounted onto a ADA billet manifold( seems to have woken it up quite well even on stock exhaust) and a DT1 air filter so far...
im having problems at the minute with it leaking fuel when stood overnight its as tho its pressurising and leaking around the bottom of the cap but i cant figure out why ....might try a new cap and failing that it'll be a new tank i guess.....
one thing i have learnt fedex from the us is quicker to uk than uk postal service is to uk lol.....shame they send ya a bill after for import tax tho.....gits ......ah well... moan over
