Like mark said... I hadn't thought of it before. Our old dirt bikes were free air, no cooling system or fan and they never over heated when riding. Guess alx is using the same idea. Which makes your flywheel issue all the more easy!

But u didn't specify if 19-20 was retarded or advance, u just said 19-20 so is it 19-20 retarded or advance? Also that's great that I don't need to mess with the flywheel!

Sure the fly wheel and shroud are left over from these little mptors benig utility power plants (weed wakers ,they are not moving very fast an need air ) coz only 2 sroke motors i can think of that have shrouds ect are scooters

So what r u saying ? That I would need a shroud or backing up Sean's point? Lol im not very bright at this time (not like I am at normal times ?)
 
So I came up with this idea for a flywheel. So with the rcexl ignition it's not a digital advance or retard, u have to move the actual pick up around the flywheel to Change the timing which would be a pain in the ass cuz the design of the alx crankcase. So what I've come up with is a 2 disk design were the top disk and be rotated independently from the bottom but can be locked down so it don't rotate whilst the engine is running and Change timing. Here it is, yes it's made out of cardboard but ignore that lol

Here's a demonstration, the middle screw is just to hold it together and the other to on the outer ring is a place holder for the proper screws.
What do u think? Pretty smart or a bad design? If it's a bad design I'd like to hear your reason and a way to improve it!
 
So I calculated and I should have 290 bucks by June and I only need 220 so what do u think I should do with the extra 70? Wheel/Tires? Diff parts? Fuel system? Save till stuff breaks? I'm kinda thinking tires.
