Ok so thought I was having heat soak on my carb bulb was empty and sounding lean. So after a few hours the bulb still dose not fill after plunging took the filter off carb not lose......put a rachet on it and snugged it up.....no joy pulled off the bulb and check out the diaphragm....no rips or holes put it all back still not filling up after plunging so also checked to make sure the hoses where the right way round........carb kit or new carb

Borrow a carb from another rig so u can make sure it’s the carb

Lol yeah that carb was working ok till now let's hope the new one arrives before Saturday

Solved the carb issue diaphragm was feked replace the diaphragm and hey presto

bibbity bob on doug ,
small teething issues but you will soon have those sussed out,
is the shift point adjustable ? seems to be holding first gear for a a tad too long,
or is that just cos of the carb leak issue?

Int this mcd explains how the X2 works and how to adjust for your preferred shift so ill be playing round with it next

Same set up on most nitro multi speed trans. It's kinda tricky to get them dialed in at times. But once it's done and working properly they are a joy.
