Does the Clutch bell needs to be shimmed?

I am putting back my clutch and noticed the clutch bell has lots of play. Is this normal or it needs to be shimmed?

Off the engine. Found the problem. The bearing had pulled out. Took it out and 1 of the bearings are bad. These are some big ass bearings. I hope a bicycle shop has these. Most likely will buy a pair of shielded ones.

DDM -Fast Eddy bearings.

Do me a favor if you can and measure how much play you have. Like I said both of mine do that as well. But perhaps its only a fraction of what yours moves.

All.pf mine have a bit of side to side play. Tbh I never worried about it.

Same here that's why I'm curious if it's normal or not after seeing it asked.
Well upon further investigation...neither of my clutch bells have any play in them. Other motor used to. Presently no slop/play whatsoever.

New bearings installed. It does have about maybe 0.5mm play but that's normal for heat expansion.

Now to fix the damn leaking ddm manifold.

Quick fix? called the bin ????‍

If your leak has anything to do with those teflon gaskets chuck them in the bin too and put paper gaskets in their place...otherwise say bye bye to your top end like mine is doing now

I did put back on the stock manifold and problem solved. $40 gone....

Did you see the sand in intake thread...them billet intakes are bad news.
