They looked like IRCs to me. Defo needs shock limit cables though, could’ve avoided that little mishap.

Straps don't help, the vibration causes the bottom caps to come out. Teflon tape is about the only way to stop it. Had it happen. Numerous times with my bigbore bajas and IRC shocks
such a shame doug, but it does sound really nasty

and looks like its gonna be a proper handful,
strange with the shock, but all ya can do is like miles said above and fit limiting strap/cables, and/or as john parks said, teflon tape the shock bottom cos of vibration, i'd check the threads on the plastic first cos probably has just wound out,

Just pulled off the damaged shock? seen better days ? but its still usable i rekon ?? piston is still round and 95% of the threads on the end are good?? the spring lost dome powder coating ?
