ah right doug, my reed engine has a solid alloy inlet, i had to make an 8mm spacer out of phenolic board, it has a specific name but cant remember it ,
mine was an earlier obr reed engine so they must have modded the inlet for later ones,
i see on your twin you also have a plastic type spacer between the isolater/insulator and the carb anyways, i thought they were just full alloy, but obviously not now ya put pics up ,

As far as I know the have changed the inlet slightly again.......made the plastic a tad thinner so that there is more alloy to thread ( reed case motors)??

I've already learned to have foams on tap until I get rcmax wheels. OBR sig series slaps

my reed 34 motor does not spit foams but now this is the second time in a row?‍ its time for an upgrade

think i said this before doug, but front open cell foams in the rears, there supelight,
glued to the rim and two layers of gorilla tape around em, but spray glue the tape as well,
enough support for the tire and much less flying foams ,
or, get some brp's/rcmax skinny's ,
intro is spot on by the way

Or you could just fill it with cement. Its either gonna hold or its not. Either way fun times to be had.
