I've been thinking a kid would be good to have someone to play rc's with... my wife eh nlt so much in the rc department...i might as well dress it up in a cockroach costume ..thats the reaction I get

My daughter is 7. She got her first one at 5 or 6. She's on her 3rd now, perhaps her 2nd and a half. As I took one back and went brushless conversion.

And my kids do whatever I'm doing. Had my daughter driving one of the tractors the other day. She was a little unsure, but did well.

Get a younger start then that around here. My 4yo runs the splitter lever, and my 2 yo drags the splits around. Funniest thing you ever seen. She can barely pull the lever but wants to help, and he cant lift more then a twig, but wants to help.

I got into rc when I was 10, nitro when I was 11 or 12. Hobby shop did everything for me until they closed down in 2017 (best thing that ever happened, otherwise I'd still be overpaying for poop and not knowing jack about my rigs).. I'm lucky to be born in the age of the internet , info (and porn) at the tips of your fingers ??

I'm actually making a big effort to keep my kids away from the internet, and social media more then anything. The suicide rate keeps going up, and up. Really social media is to blame. Anyone and everyone knows everyone's business. Were social creatures, but don't have the capacity to take criticism 24/7 from the whole world.
