or u could use vht flameproof clear coat if u want it raw, wont rust that wayyeah but they rust in 5 minutes.

That's regular engine high temp clear 550 f the flame proof says you have to bake it. 2 gallon fuel no problem.
lol i was wondering how long it would take b4 someone posted that they did thatLast (and only) time i painted a pipe w/flameproof i baked it in the oven to cure.
Wife was away visiting the kids for a few days so prepped, primed, painted and baked it then.
She knew i did it too...cause the house still stank of that smell when she got home.
Got tired of the way it looked so i wire brushed it all off.
??? Possibly another way to get high ??Lesson learned....sort of.....
maybe if just open more windows
Don't mess with the Mrs. oven. I learned my lesson with new work boots and Sno-seal or bee oil. She came unglued. The only thing I can put in the oven is brand new hockey skates.Lesson learned....sort of.....
Like that coating, looks good ?ready to run now.
