You should be able to rebuild it and get a killer bee kill switch for less than $300 to 400. Buying a 5t ain’t going to fix user error at least now you understand the vekta platform in and out. Send the engine back to rcmax to get rebuilt so they can go through it properly.

This one will be a bit more cost to fix he smoked the crankshaft bearings rod, and everything there

If you want this big ass supreme power I say go for an outlaw kit, that's what their made for, unless your sold on 4wd platform
But it is worth emailing Mike to see what he says or atleast get a repair quote from him or John. That thing was 2500 bucks so give it a shot.

looks like the bottom end still looks good. No cracks or anything from here. I would rebuild that. Ask mike how much for a top end rebuild kit and a connecting rod. Ask him if you can slap a 71cc top end on there. I know someone that had a 40gt bottom and put a 65cc top

I suggest a whole new crank. For one the bearings are probably done from the heat, second, you can't just press a new rod in and go (which in itself is hard, that crank pin is extremely fuckin tight) . You have to get the crank trued (both the halfs have to line up exactly perfect otherwise it will be very unbalanced) to do it right. Which will probably cost you just as much as a brand new crank will .

Actually the rod was bent before I used the hammer but yeah is all on me for not having kill switch..

I feel your pain! Seriously though as much as it pains me. When I'm cursed with something like that, that poop is sold the same day. After messing with these long enough, some poop is just a curse and needs gone.
On that note, if you decide to part ways with that engine let me know I'd be interested as I have a decent amount of parts for it here

That cylinder would clean up with some acid. Any competent machine shop should be able to replace the rod for you. New rod, piston kit, and gaskets be in your merry way again.
