lol without the brick my baja moves forward.... unless i take a video while driving, which i cant do by myself
Haha first of all let me tell you that even i thought the baja was not going to move with the rocket on the back. But i'm serious, that without that brick the baja moves about 1 foot forward. .
Why should a metal tube get hot, when they/I use these engines in model rockets made by paper and cardboard? You can fire off these engines without it installed in anything, and because of the thick paper walls it wont get hot a all.
Maximum Lift Wt. - Oz.: 12.0

NAAA, I don't buy it! Make a video of it without the brick!
That was one expensive kit, and no pictures of the parts or it installed in the Baja

And if you want a video without the brick, I'll get you a video without the brick just to make you feel warm and fuzzy inside.
Theres no pictures because theres a youtube video of the parts on the baja. And the tube does get hot. Try holding it while its ignited, then you'll see whats hot and whats not. The rockets have fire resistant material on them, thats why they do not catch fire. But they do get hot. Its just that by the time they parachute back down, they are cooled off. Any more reasoning you would like to do?
please do, while your at it why not show a pic of the back end of that baja with the wing so we know what you are talking about?
I would like to see a picture of the inside of the Baja, where the ignite mechanism sit! All it should take is a 9v battery, a servo and some wiring that touch when you engage the servo.
Metal tube
Servo
9v Battery
Some Wire
Alligator clips
And a switch if you would like to complicate it.
You can get this at your local hardware store for under 20 dollars + a servo.
Maybe you need to make up a servo tray.
It's not that I don't like people to come up with new things, it's just that I don't like to be taken for a fool.
please do, while your at it why not show a pic of the back end of that baja with the wing so we know what you are talking about?
sorry but i don't think your going to make me warm and fuzzy,i get the feeling that this will fizzle out, since i get the feeeling i know what this kit consist's of and it's not worth $199 starting bid, keep in mind gents thats a starting bid not the sale price,
so please add the video where you move a whole 12"

sorry im with everyone else here, looks cool but does not do anything that makes me wanna spend 200 bucks on it..........Strap a bottle rocket on the back of mine and sell them for 100 bucks each.....any takers?..........lol
trade you a bottle rocket setup for a rocket setup.........lol........All the guys are saying here is we all know alot about the hobby and we arent going to spend 200 bucks on a system that pretty much just shoots a flame out, also no support or warranty. These guys have been in the hobby a long time and seen alot of stuff, Just don't try to push it on people.
