well if you want i can get you a good deal ha ha anyway when it comes going to take it apart check everything get about a gallon of thread lock and a decent rn air filter and some fg baja rims 2 multi rhinos servos for the steering
and multi for the throttle then give it a good bash and what breaks ill change it for the alloy upgrades
also psr can you shed some light on why if you want to be able to change gears ratios like the MCD's (12 ratios to choose from) you will have to spend $172 replacing parts with genuine MCD parts.
LOL, i expected u to chime in.
MCD prices will drop watch and see...competition is good
Well if you all will take a risk and order an FS from oversizerc, why don't you try oredering a real MCD racerunner EVO 2 for $1049 USD from powerslide in Australia - thats where oversize is. It seems you guys are being ripped off royally on the pricing of the MCDs, it may not be the fault of the manufacturer, if powerslide can give us awesome deals then it seems your US importer is plain and simply lining their pockets.
And no sickboy thats not the reason, I could order that flexi piece of imitation crap you call an FS any day of the week and not wait for it either as I am in the same country that you would be getting it from. It comes down to the fact it is an outdated design that MCD have moved on from and it is also a blatant, unauthorised rip off of an original design, it has VERY poor servos, a crap radio, the chassis flexes, the arms aren't the same grade plastics as MCD, the engine (for a 30.5) is akin to a zenoah 23 in performance - maybe worse, the tuned pipe (also a blatant jetpro copy) performs nowhere near the one they copied it off, if i wanted to change the gear ratio I would be forking out coin to buy MCD parts and to top it all of I would have to buy MCD spares when it breaks which I have bought VERY limited MCD spares so far for my REAL MCD as they
a) don't break as often (done some rose joints and that it really) and
b) a real MCD comes with spare parts and choice of gears so no need to buy more stuff
c) don't need to upgrade to KCR stuff as the MCD plastics are foine as they are, not like the FS plastics
And hellya looks like you spent a LOT of money upgrading that FH to be able to take the same beating I hand out to my STOCK FG every weekend.
Each to their own guys but tell it like it is for gods sake, don't let a noob read this and think that a clone is equal to the original or even up for the same usage as the originals. They are not.
How many of you (sickboy, no moa or hellya) actually have these FS trucks in your possession, seems like you (like everyone else who got one) are trying to justify spending the money and taking the risk, sadly though, the majority of people who recieved them (at least those with a bit of integrity and/or knowledge of large scale) have come forth and said that what they recieved was utter CRAP.
