hi all
well when my car comes I'm looking at getting the new fg baja wheels wide ones that is all round then the asgard body but the body is a problem I'm looking at €70 to €80 including shipping because in eu cost way to much and the USA they are cheaper but get stung with the shipping and if some one can do me a deal on bough.can any one help me on this one thanks

I have noticed in the Picture that the FS racing Monster truck, Buggy and Rally car seem to have almost identical chassie in exception to minor parts. Do anyone know if they are inter change able?

Got any info on a site where that is being posted? Or is that word of mouth? I would like to read more on these engines, i'm sure most of the guys here would.

I was told by someone who sells them, the owners probably don't come on here (probably only 1% of actual owners visit any forums) so there is no post.

all well the customs let it go friday and the post company don't work saturdays so i have to wait till next week to pick it up at my brothers in germany so ill be killing 2 birds with one stone any when its in i will post some photos. oh by the way their is bloke here and iv spoke to him about the fs racing engines and its the first time he's heard that one he would also like to here their views and to know what exactly happened he sells them here in holland



these clones you will always here some strange story if its fg or hpi it keeps it interesting don't you think

Just spend the last 1hr reading this entire post with interest :) I sell these FS clones and have also been testing them for 3 months. It seems theres lovers and haters of the clone but i think people are missing the point if you can afford a MCD great go buy one its better its original its going to kick ass the chicks will dig it well maybe not but there's no doubt its better so wheres the argument? The clone has its place the clone will bring more people into large scale RC the clone will fit peoples budget the clone can be improved and upgradedthe clone is here and here to stay but the clone will never be a MCD. Just like a ferrari rep will never be a real one but your still going to get alot of fun out it and the chick will also dig it lol
I have the second gen monster trucks in stock along with the buggies 4wd i sold one last week to a pro nitro truggy racer and he was delighted so much he called me up to tell me so after a few mods he was impressed a prime example of a guy right into RC but not willing to pay MCD money, now with his clone he is new blood into 5th scale thats the place of the clone and the FS is the best clone out there for the job 4WD.
Love it or hate it it has its place.

kooltoyz, your argument has been one that has been stated before. I do not disagree that having clones allows people to enter the hobby at a "budget" price. I drive a FHMT...a clone. My problem with the new generation of clones (MCD clone and Baja clone), is that the quality of these things is NOT good. They have brittle plastics, crap engines, leaking shocks, chassis that bend like bananas and the list goes on. When they improve their quality, then I will have a look at them.

On a related note, King Motor is soon releasing the SS version of their clone for $US450 + delivery. That sounds great....but they will probably have brittle plastics, a BIGGER crap engine, a gun metal grey chassis that bends like a banana, shocks with orange caps that leak, etc, etc...............:lol::lol:

bigtoyz have you actually had a FS MCD clone in hand?

1. The plastic is far from brittle and the 3 times ive rolled my MT hard it broke the metal tracking bars before the plastic infact the plastic never broke or even showed any signs of brittleness.
2. They have CY engines that have been tried and tested in garden machinery for years and are cheap and reliable CY is a huge taiwanese company that makes millions of engines, fair enough they don't kick out the same BHP as a zenoah but there half the money and kick out alot more than half the BHP so there value for money in my book.
3. The chassis is 4mm thick alloy plate and is very tough its totally solid and in no way could be compare to a banana infact you would have to be a banana to make such a comparison.

So you say when these issues you have stated are fixed you will look at them why not look at them then make your judgement instead of judging them with a white stick???

Yes, I have. I have driven one...didn't like it. There is a guy, in Australia that sells a lot of these (oversizerc a.k.a. auctioncityaustralia), so there are LOTS of these in Australia.

I have personally seen the plastics break on this RC on very soft impacts...so my opinion is that the plastic is brittle. I have also driven the clone baja...same thing...brittle plastics.

Maybe, but the quality of the alloy is CRAP!....it's bends quicker than a Queensland banana!

This is a forum site. IMO, that means it is a place where EVERYONE can make an opinion. I have driven clones, and have made an opinion on them, based on my experience driving them. I have made, and will continue to make opinions on any topic that I want to...if you don't like it....:censored: off!
