Nice work man and I am still crossing my fingers for a nice tower I can't seem to understand why all the aftermarket towers are set up for the original 6mm shock mounts instead of the newer 8mm versions.They all require us to drill into a brand new tower.Well at least the last time I checked?

RCMax tower still says 6 on their site. Main reason I’m holding off in the chassis/diff/tower bundle

I would never want to pay that money and then have to open up those holes.I wouldn't have a problem opening them up cleanly but the material between holes gets a bit thinner and weaker so that isn't a good idea in my book.Just sayin'

The original one that came with mine was already set up for 8mm but like I said I could do it but to me it doesn't really make sense why they don't modify the design so we don't have to.

Because if you had an original vekta like me then you would have the 6mm unless you upgraded and the standoff wouldn't fit the 8mm hole?? Drilling a hole is the least of the modifications I've done to mine? Wait till you have to cut the cage cause the intake doesn't fit or dremel the mesh plate cause it won't fit, etc, etc. All part of the hobby bruh.
