Lucky or insanely upgraded. Mine is just about not even a rovan anymore and I still find ways to break it every damn time I bring it out.
Thats the difference between the real deal and a clone👍🏻
In this vid I'm running a stock car only upgraded parts are the pipe and tr quick diff👍🏻
So to the original poster ......buy losi 5t new or used you'll not regret it👍🏻

Absolutely. However I did get my moneys worth put of it. Upgraded over time. Still upgrading for that matter. Building a baja from scratch would be insanely fun to do but probably the most expensive option. Isnt Kraken coming out with a 2wd kit?

I know, I’m building a Carbon Baja from scratch and my previous one I’m rebuilding also. Easy got many ££££ across both.

1/5th scale done right ain’t cheap period.

I don't actually want to get a gasser. I just wanted the entertainment of watching you guys respond to each others comments.
Just kidding... I do believe I'll set my sights on the Losi 5T 2.0, and as soon as I convince the wife that I need it...
Get a rovan

Rovan baja bandwagon here, sure was cheap and more importantly it was actually in stock.
I was planning on buying a Losi, but was not in stock, and last i saw it was still out of stock.

for the Rovan, it's pretty tough, for what it is.
sloppy as hell.
I bash the fk out of it and it runs great.

No real complaints, but i did have to pull the diff out.
Super gritty out of the box, I disassembled and reassembled with fresh diff grease.
Much smoother afterwards.
the shocks also didn't have much in the way of fluid, maybe half way full.
Came with a decent remote, flysky GT3B

The ad showed a different remote, but that's the one it came with.
I was planning on running a different remote, but the flysky is decent for now
the reverse/brake part of the trigger snapped off last weekend, still works but... lol

I have a good 5 gallons through mine.
it does go through tires pretty quickly.

Sorta hard to work on compared to my old nitro's.
Gas stinks, don't plan on storing it indoors.

If it got run over by a truck tomorrow, i would totally buy another one.
Unless that losi 5t was in stock...

I paid a little over $400 shipped for my Rovan.

I feel like i got a good deal, and i would still buy the Losi later.
I'm enjoying it, and often.

Pretty much i went with the "meh why the fk not, i can handle a $400 loss if i hate it"
