How do I install rcr brakes?

So I noticed , the rcr pads don't have the little push block thingy for the break cam so how do I use em? Do I de laminate the old pads from the metal pusher thing, and then put the rcr pads in place? Idk. Help me out lol

Get the old break shoe thing with the cam pull off old pad ✔?? slide new rcr on.....job done?

Yeah well, I won't. Stock Baja brakes are literally trash lol

So yeah, as you've already figured, you need to cut the old pad material off the old cam plate (85456) and use that with the RCR pads and discs.

I don't get that, wieghs as much as stock (for me baja atleast), if not a tiny bit more. Not gunna effect anything ?‍

The ones for 5t were substantially heavier than 5t stock, didn’t want that extra rotating mass, I bet the work great tho. And there was the hardware issues.

RCR brakes for the HPI Baja only come in one flavor. There was no 5t or 5b version, so I'm a bit confused by this statement.

Yeah, there's no mention of it being a Losi 5t anywhere here. I think it was a pretty safe assumption on my part, considering you started this thread to talk about the RCR brake installation on your HPI Baja.

Go to ddm website and u will see I believe there are actually 2 different sets, one for Baja one for 5t.
