Identifying engines

Looking at the pics I think it it a ported stroker kit on a cy case I'll tell you why.
1 it has a cy clutch
2 as we know it's a zenoah head which is the perfered cylinder by tuners
3 the exhaust port looks like it's been enlarged
4 it has a big arse copper base gasket, probably because it has a +2 stroker crank.

The guy I bought it from I trust. He said it was a 32cc installed by the previous owner, but seeing as I don’t know the first owner I wasn’t sure. It’s starting to look like it is a 32 though

That is not a 32? zen 32 has a scavenger port cover like so
On both side of the head!

It's not a g320 @dougstar but it could still be a 32cc based on the g290.

yeah but if it was wouldnt the head be an aftermarket deal and not say zenoah on the bottom front of the head? i could be wayy wrong tho.

No Z. If the g290 has a stoker crank, that will put it at 30.5cc. OBR still offers them and used to offer a 32cc before the g320 came out. ADA racing also offers a bore up kit that utilizes the Zen cylinder, although it's modified for their cooling head as well: https://adaracing.com/zenoah-g290rc-cylinder-kit/

But really, does it matter if it's a 30.5cc or a 32cc? Just run that puppy like you done stole it and have a blast! Sounds like you got a hell of a deal either way!
