all wired up no switchs in place no i can turn on/off through the window only got to take shell off now to fill up don't see a way round this voltwatch is mounted cheap ebay find 3.75 free postage kill switch all wired in and working correct on 3rd channel so :celebrate:ready to run now just waiting for a dry spell so i can take it out everyweres like a swamp at the mo

thats the one mines based on im sure there the old old fg race team colours how old is that add bet it aint that cheap now wagon went in or local model shop the other day they had fg monster truck all plastic 4 shock model rtr plastic cheapy servos 2ch handset they wanted nearly 800 for it crazey when you look on ebay for what you can get modded for less

i think i prefer the tourag than that how are you paint it are you going with the standard red bull sceme that looks killer i realy wanted that myself i saved up for it then i see the vrc pipe so sold my jetpro and got that instead other than the beetle shell my fav mod but its the shells what change them when i had it as a marder then put the tub and beetle shell on man its like getting a complete new car
 
Hey dude how's things and again your beetle looks the dogs dangler's.
I was going to do the Standard RedBull Theme on the VW Tourang shell and look for stickers on egay rather than spending nearly £40 from .de.

No need to cut any body here to fit the DDM Dom and enough room for a spare :)

A picture below of the actuall shell and makes my MT look like a 1/8th scale.

that thing is massive looking good aint had chance to use the marder bug yet hoping to get it out next week if all goes well wagon got his out the other day was meant to go with him but i wernt feeling to well im not to sure on some of the ebay sticker sets there all made on a white background instead of clear not a problem on a white car but any other colour and you get white surrond ask wagon thats the main reason he removed his lucas stickers might be worth the extra ££££
 
well got the marder bug out today for a bit of park bashing went realy well mega happy shocks now work better thank to my mod engine had loads of grunt left it on factory settings going to tune it next time out it don't need alot of adjustment no bogging but more to come from it mud everywere tub stoped most of it had a little roll over but landed back on its wheels like a cat nothing broken sweet but play was ended early due to me trying donuts on a tarmac path it just griped and blew a tyre clean off the rim thats the second time since the victory pipes been on its done that so game over forgot to take spare wheels to wagons gutted glued back on now so will be out again thursday hopefully wagons play was also ended early by a bolt coming out no biggie his was awsome we rip the crap out of the park mud tracks everywere top day all cleaned up now and ready to go again cant wait

Looks good mate and handles ok as well looking at that vid , how did you manage to rip the tyre off the rim had you glued them ?
 
yeah mate well glued only done it since pipe went on and the ddm 29cc head plus it was running factory carb settings so running a tad rich going to tune next time out hadn't been used since last year so without the choke its a female dog to start but when i put factory setting on carb it fired up after a few pulls run ok so i left it but its got a bit more to come its only had 3-4 tanks since rebuild so i think it will free up a bit its got mega compresion i don't know what head kit other than its a gp290 and ddm do a few different spec ones as it was a ebay bargain it don't look ported but tops been machined and the gasket what came with the kit when i tested squish with solder wire it barely marked it but i had a thinner copper gasket and that did i think next im going to get +2mm crank so then it will be a 30.5cc ill wait till it needs a new ring but for now its all good
 
had a little blast yesterday at my mates hes got a motocross practice track in his back garden mental jumps bumps woops table tops the lot only had about 20 min run but good fun loads of mud got a bit dirty will try harder next time i promise :2guns:

day out today with wagon and his mcd and my beetlefound a new bashing spot blinding place loads of room jumps the lot all was going well then i somehow had a drive shaft pop out so i fixed that the a front wheel came lose sorted that the i destroyed 2 wheel squares rounded them both great change the wheels put the tracktor ones on ok but not as good as the fg spikey ones few more jumps bit more bashing then the final straw i managed to break 2 servos both my steering ones snaped one set of splines clean of and the others just died f****** great so now ive got to get 2 new rear tyres im not botherd about that as im getting the extra wide mammoth ones but the servos im not happy about i don't think im going to run 2 this time im going to try the new hitec hs5755mg its the replacement for the 5745 and now comes with 8mm output shaft so im hopeing it wont do it again
 
servos in looking good and strong 8mm output shaft looks mega tuff mammoth rear wheels are here top marks for hobbyteck cheap as well 59.90 euros plus postage there massive well wide plus got some anti roll bars of ebay front and rear going to try them soon all fitted and ready to play again
 
today the engine went caput big style i think its from when i hit wagons car before xmas and its gone unnoticed until now was running great today then it just stoped and would not start again so got it home an stripped it down got the engine out all looked ok until i undone one of the head bolts then a became very clear to why it stoped running as it had a crack half the way around the bore then it just fell apart i sureits been like that ages as i had a petrol leak a while back and couldnt find it but now know it was coming out the crack so it looks like im going to be running the 23cc when it gets here
