Not necessarily, it appears that you blew out the bead. If that is the case and you continued to run you should expect damaged foams. If I'm seeing it wrong and that is what you found after disassembling the wheel then yes blame it on crap Rovan foams. The foams that came in my LT305 were all of different levels of firmness. One broke apart trying to pull it out of the tire. One was very soft and squishy, the other two were more consistent and didnt seem horrible.

That is correct, Somehow it did pull loose from the bead lock. Tire is fine. It was all in one motion. Not like bead broke free and i kept driving on it. Ill email em and see if i can purchase just a single. Doubt it but worth a shot.
Yeah, a blown bead will wreck any foam insert. You need the tire holding it in to keep it from pulling apart. It can happen in an instant, but a bit of gorilla tape around the foam might give you enough strength to keep the foam together for a moment after the blow out.
Might want to try the bite beadlock screws from DDM. I use them on all my wheels

Well, Its still there and still tightly attached to the wheel...somehow separated tire from wheel. Yessir!
Like, i just went downstairs to confirm. Wheel is in one piece bead lock is still tight too. No Idea. Cost me a foam. See what I can do.

But my first thought is (after you said y using bite lock screws) is you did not line the tire up properly when you fitted them? I'm running mm. Gg tires with bite screws for years now and I have no issue's

I mean obviously I'm gonna fix it. I saw some sh!t go flying during a turn brought it on hit my kill switch to shut it down (different thread) and investigated the tire situation. Got some funny looks when looking for foam pieces

I'll get to that one in a bit. Electronics should be here tomorrow or Saturday. Motor slated for Tuesday and my pipe late next week I believe

My losi foams look identical, and smell like swamp ass to boot. Gorilla tape is the fix. Love that stuff, it made redneck fixes far more durable. The ole hillbilly chrome is retired.?

Probably have to use the low expanding door and window stuff. The other original one sets up like hard hard. Door and window is softer.
