Yea I was looking at the snappy kit...can you get vapor lock from just idling I was on my 3rd heat cycle and the rpms started going high the primer bulb was empty then it died and when I pumped it the primer bulb would not fill.....I figured it was just to much pressure build in the gas tank cause it's not vented but I'm not sure

Yeah, pretty sure that's the cause. Try and run it at idle till the bulb is empty and won't run, try to pump the bulb, if it won't pump, remove the gas cap and see if it pumps and runns with the cap open, if it does, then u need a vent

Thought I'd share what all come with the snappy rc kit. I just got this at black Friday from DDM. I'm using it on my dbxl. I will note the kit comes with 1/8" fuel line. Same as the stock size on my dbxl. So 0.125" the inlet i.d. of the fuel filter is 0.0925" and the fuel inlet of my carb walbro 1107 is also 0.0925" these will be the biggest fuel restrictions in my system. I think I have a fuel filter laying around for one of my saws so I'll see it it has a bigger I.d. and use that. The fuel line through my stock grommet was getting pinched down to 0.0860" that's where this kit will help (me) pick up the flow.

Yes u can use the stock cap, the stock seal u don't need cuz see that big black ring? That's ur new seal, also there's a pin hole on ur gas cap, u have to plug it, I used a screw works great 15451867188855672813317473129853.jpg
See that ring?15451867807356782209273785623771.jpg
I epoxied mine cuz it kept on falling off when I redueled but it's not necessary.

What you guys think about fabricating this aluminum into window neting on windows and a couple other open areas on the cage to offset the beadlocks and but painted red to match? Just a theory....

Lol funny thanks
So just to be sure I don't need the brass fittings for this vent kit correct? I just want to get BLOODYMARY up n running I don't even know how she runs yet before adding brass fittings
oh forgot to reply to this lol, no u don't need the brass fittings for this, heres a tip if ur not running the brass fittings, since ur not using the brass fitings cut the tip of the fuel lines that go in the grommet at a 45 degree angle, if u don't its gunna be a real pain in the ass to get in. cutting-45-degree-angle-on-pipe_19028.jpg
