I don’t know yet, just light as possible. How light are we talkin?
it doesn't matter with the direction on deans carbon dude,The twirl is going the wrong direction for optimal strength on that one dude ?
He’s also got some wicked 5T with a DBXL body on it that took him ages to modify to fit.
Power to weight is the way to go for all round usage I think.
But that is just my opinion and like the saying goes..................
Why the hell has RPM never made extended arms. It’s beyond me.
Thank you gents,
I’ll post pics of the parts as they arrive.
Is there a “What did the postie bring today“ thread? I can’t remember seeing one on this forum.

Hey Paul,View attachment 69176
I said I’d post a pic of Bass666 bodies. I’ve got all the bits still, matching spoilers and nose pieces.
Wrong ? sorry got to edit .. so 45deg turn on each layer of twill which in turn is +45-45 no wonder the parts are weak. With a twill which is already+45-45 you rotate at 180deg . Now if you want strong parts use a biaxle which you can get at -45 or +45 . Hope this helps with n the future guys . And do not buy in carbon plate make it that way you no what has gone into it ?it doesn't matter with the direction on deans carbon dude,
the carbon he uses is twill all the way through, laid up at 45deg to each other layer by layer, so maximum strength whichever way its stressed,
theres no cheap infill to make up the thickness either, all twill at different angles,
everything has a fail point, doug was just unfortunate he found it thats all,
also dean checks the carbon regular to make sure its consistent,
reason i know is cos i test it for him, same size test piece every time and same test method every time![]()
dude, what i shoulda said is 45 then 90deg, my mistake,Wrong ? sorry got to edit .. so 45deg turn on each layer of twill which in turn is +45-45 no wonder the parts are weak. +1 BOOMdude, what i shoulda said is 45 then 90deg, my mistake,
why don't you contact dean @BoneHead-rc and let him know how much of a mistake he's making,
he's been making carbon parts for rc for 4 years now and he's had two reported broken pin braces and hardly any other failures,
the carbon he uses id strong, don't try and bad mouth rc parts makers and suppliers when theres no need to,
like your dig at rcmodelz cos you busted a £4.99 diff cup.
which judging by the wear mark on the remaining face had more than one blip on it,
i know you say you work with carbon, but laying up a mold yerself aint the same as cnc machining parts from pressed and cured carbon plate
dean did the research and only supplies parts made with the best he can find,
ie; two reported breakages in four years,
but, will you please accept that you don't know everything ?
every fecking post you make you either know it all or try and make someone else look dumb,
@dougstar, sorry for the rant mate but i've had the day from hell, and this dude comes across as having brown eyes thats all,
What’s brown eyes never heard that saying before?dude, what i shoulda said is 45 then 90deg, my mistake,

You want stronger parts make stronger parts I'm not digging at anyone at all just the dumbness that goes with the thread. Would you like me to tell everyone how his parts are made . That one photo shows the whole truth. Ok ? get back off the horse ? .. if you want to talk crap I'm here all day fella. ?? I've also had a bad day sorry for rant ?dude, what i shoulda said is 45 then 90deg, my mistake,

Haha you see my work on tv all the time fella so how are those Apple's ?lol you have nothing to show for your work , yet your talking poop on well established companies and parts with no evidence![]()
cwell, none of use know who you are or seen anything you have done so clearly notHaha you see my work on tv all the time fella so how are those Apple's ?
I totally respect that.. and I'm not aiming to p*"s anybody of.What are you on about?
This is a hobby that’s fun for most people. There’s no need to jump on here and try and flame people, you’re in the wrong place. You come across like a keyboard warrior with no knowledge of Bonehead RCs products, which are A1 BTW. If they weren’t RCMAX wouldn’t sell them.
Go and have lie down and come back when you’re feeling better.
Jealousy can do that to some people.lol you have nothing to show for your work , yet your talking poop on well established companies and parts with no evidence![]()
guess soJealousy can do that to some people.
